About Yourselves

Please ensure that we have your correct legal names. If you are known as Dave but named David on your birth certificate then we must be informed of the name on the official document. Any middle names you have must be included regardless of how little you like them or how embarrassing you may think they are.

About Your Mortgage

Please ensure all mortgage arrears, if any, have been clearly stated including the highest amount the arrears have been within the last twelve months. Please ensure that if you have an endowment mortgage your monthly endowment premium is clearly stated.

Finally, you must advise us if there are any other loans secured on your property with any other companies. If there are, we require confirmation of the approximate current balance and the company. You must also include any secured bank overdrafts. If there are other loans secured on your property, which you wish to clear, we can arrange this for you. Please ensure that all persons who own the property are included on the application


About Your Property

In view of the current housing market please ensure that the current value of the property stated is realistic. We will probably have no idea of property prices in your area and therefore rely on you, the customer, to supply us with a realistic valuation figure. Your figure should be based on the selling price of similar properties in your area.

About Your Loan

If you decide to change your mind with respect to the terms of the loan after you have applied, this could cause a slight delay in completing the loan. Therefore, please ensure that:

  1. You are borrowing the correct amount required. Please state the maximum amount you require. If for any reason we are unable to provide the full amount requested we would not decline your application but would advise you of the maximum offer available.
  2. The loan is over the required period of time.
  3. You have considered carefully the Payment Protection to cover Accident, Sickness and involuntary unemployment. The Payment Protection section should be used as a guide only and may vary slightly depending on which bank we place your application with.
